Don't I need personal donor details to legally deliver annual giving statements?
The simple answer to this question is, yes - you do need a Giver's personal details to issue them an annual giving statement. You do not need them, though, for someone to make a donation. It is only when desiring tax credit that a giver need to provide their personal details.
Should you choose to send out RebelGive's annual giving statements, you will have to manually decide to do so. (Some churches would rather put together their own.) When you do this, you will have the option to send out a custom message to each Giver that submitted their email address. (For more information on that process, click here.)
When a Giver (who hasn't yet set up an account or completed their personal profile details) receives that email and attempts to access their giving statement, they will be required to add these details before they can view their annual giving statement.
