How do I receive a refund for a donation?

From time to time, it may be necessary to request a refund for a donation you recently made. Perhaps you accidentally gave more than you meant to, or maybe you gave an entire additional gift because you didn't think your previous donation was successful. Whatever the reason, all you need to do is contact you church to request a refund. (Note: your church admin team has the ability to issue refunds. RebelGive customer support does not.) As soon as they do, you will receive an email that looks like this to confirm the refund 👇 

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you just made the donation, you will likely not be able to receive the refund right away. Without going into the nitty gritty details of how card processing works, your church cannot issue a refund until your donation reaches their bank account. As soon as your donation clears and is deposited into their bank account, they can issue the refund.
